Chapter Philanthropy

"To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand."

One of the most rewarding parts of being a Phi Mu is being involved with a chapter of girls dedicated to something so much bigger than ourselves. In the first line of Phi Mu's creed it states, "To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand." In living out our creed, we strive to make our philanthropic involvement more than just a donation. 

Our Phi Mu chapter is partnered with a local Children's Miracle Network hospital -- Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Every month, we visit the children at Memorial. Not only is it a pleasure to see them smile, but we have also seen that they have made just as big of an impact, if not bigger, on our lives. 

Aside from our work with Phi Mu's national philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network, our chapter also works with a variety of service projects in our local community. Some of our most recent local projects include Fostering Bulloch, Willow Pond Senior Care, and Backpack Buddies.
