Macy Pounds

President

HEY! My name is Macy and I am the current president of Phi Mu! I am from Camden County, Ga and came to GSU fall 2020. Some of my favorite things to do at Georgia Southern are shop at the cute local boutiques and eat at El Sombrero! Being on our executive committee has taught me so many lessons that I will be forever thankful for! It has been such an amazing experience so far to lead this chapter filled with the best girls!

Seele Jarrett

Vice President of Chapter Development and Sisterhood

Hey! I am Seele Jarrett and I am from Athens, GA. My major is Hospitality Management and I am currently a junior here at Georgia Southern. When I am not hanging at the Phi Mu house or attending school, I will either be working at Georgia Southern Human Resources Department or hanging out with my friends. I have been blessed to be able to serve as Phi Mu’s Vice President of Chapter Development and Sisterhood. It has been a dream of mine to be on the executive council, since the day I spoke with Phi Mu, the first round of Recruitment. I have enjoyed every second of this position and can’t wait see what good is in store for us in the coming days.

Hi y’all! My name is Mary Taylor and I am a Junior here at Georgia Southern! I am from Effingham County, Georgia and my major is Elementary Education! I am currently serving as Kappa Mu’s Vice President of Committees, and I have loved every minute of it! I love seeing everything Phi Mu behind the scenes and working with this amazing exec team makes my job 10x more fun! Phi Mu is truly the place where I am at home and I am surrounded by girls who genuinely love me and want what is best for me! I love this chapter with my whole heart and I can’t wait to see what is in store for these amazing girls and this chapter! LIOB<3

My name is Maggie Booz, I am a fall 20 and I am kappa mu’s recruitment chair! I host workshops with the new pledge class each week teaching them the ins and outs of the recruitment process. I love this position and have absolutely loved getting to know our fall 22’s!

Gigi Harvin

Phi Director

Hi everyone! My name is Gillian (Gigi) Harvin and I am currently serving as Phi Director for the Georgia Southern Kappa Mu chapter! I am proud to call Macon Georgia home, and to have grown up 2 miles away from where this amazing chapter was founded at wesleyan college. My time so far at Georgia southern has been spent as a sports management major and I can’t wait to see how serving as a leader in phi mu has prepared me for my future. I am forever thankful for this chapter and exited for the upcoming year with all our amazing new members!

Julianna Hall

Philanthropy Chair

Hey everyone my name is Julianna Hall and I am the Philanthropy Chair! I am currently a sophomore and I have loved every minute of my time here in Phi Mu! Being philanthropy chair has been one of my best memories from Phi Mu so far. I am in charge of planning our annual Sir Fidel week, percentage nights and all things related to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Phi Mu Foundation!

Taylor Copeland

Social Chair

Hey!! My name is Taylor Copeland and I’m Griffin, GA. I graduated from Strong Rock in Locust Grove, GA and I’m currently majoring in marketing with an emphasis in sales at GSU! I have a twin brother here in Statesboro named Spencer who is a huge part of my life!!! Even with having the comfort of my twin brother here with me, I struggled a little my freshman year finding my best friends until I became a Phi Mu . Now, I not only have my twin here but I also have a group of over 200 girls that I can rely and count on everyday. I am currently serving as the social chair in Kappa Mu and it has by far been my favorite memory of Phi Mu. Being able to create fun events and love on others is my passion and I am so grateful that I have been able to do that for the girls who have given so much to me!

Andie Blake

Honor Board Chair

Hey y’all! I’m Andie Blake! I’m from Buford, Georgia. My major is Communication Sciences and Disorders and I plan on getting my Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology! In my free time you’ll see me hanging out with my friends, grabbing coffee at Cool Beans, or taking a trip to the beach! I am currently serving as Phi Mu’s Honor Board Chairwoman! It has been the biggest blessing in my life! I have LOVED being on executive board, working along with my sisters, & and keeping Phi Mu’s true values among my chapter and members! I knew once I walked into Phi Mu during recruitment week, it was home! Phi Mu has given me my best friends, leadership opportunities and connections that I am so grateful to be apart of! I love this chapter wholeheartedly!

Hi! My name is Ellison Caldwell and I I am from jefferson, Georgia! My major is Early Childhood Education, and I’m currently a Junior! I serve our chapter as the Director of Harm Reduction and Prevention. It is such a privilege to be able to represent the chapter I love so much! When not at Phi Mu I am either at work, or spending time with friends! I love this chapter and cannot wait to see what’s in store!

Hi! My name is Savannah Williams and I serve as Phi Mu’s Academic Chair. I live in Woodstock and I’m a Communications major. In my free time I love to go to the beach or pool, be with friends and family, and travel. I have been so blessed to find Phi Mu because it gave me forever friends and gave me a place where I am confident in myself. Being able to serve this amazing chapter has been such an opportunity! Hey y’all! I’m Shelby Sorrells and I’m from Acworth, Georgia. I am a sophomore here at Georgia southern and I’m majoring in elementary education! I am the treasurer for Phi Mu Kappa Mu and have loved every second of it! Being treasurer along side of the best exec has been one of my biggest blessings being in phi mu! I am all things money and take care of dues, budgets, and paying for things. In my free time I love going to phi mu and spending time with my friends! From the second I walked into Phi Mu my freshmen year I knew it was the place for me. I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for Phi Mu but I’m very excited! LIOB?

Hey y’all!! I’m Skylar and I am from Peachtree City, Georgia. I am currently a Sophomore and my major is Marketing. I love making new friends, taking my dog on walks through campus, and going on spontaneous day trips. I genuinely have so much love for this chapter and have been blessed to serve on Phi Mu’s executive board as Recording Secretary with the most incredible ladies. Being the first to join greek life in my family, I was extremely nervous and overwhelmed when going through recruitment. The greatest advice I received during this stressful time was follow your heart and you will find your home. I have truly never felt more loved and accepted than I do now by my Kappa Mu sisters. I am forever indebted to this chapter for being my greatest blessing and am extremely proud to forever be apart of such a special bond. I can’t wait to continue to grow along side my best friends and am so excited to see what the next few years bring!
